Wendy Yalom of www.wendykyalom.com started out shooting weddings and that's what she did from 2001-2011 after earning her degree in fine art photography. In this interview, Wendy shares how to build the life you want with personal brand photography – something she discovered after transitioning from wedding photography. In 2011, she was voted Best San Francisco Wedding Photographer. That's when she decided to move in another direction – to Personal Branding Photography. Today, she is recognised as an International Leader in Personal Brand Photography. Her work has been featured on countless websites PLUS, The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Forbes, San Francisco Magazine, Yoga Journal and more. She says on her about page, “For 30 weeks of the year when I'm not at home in San Francisco, I'm travelling the world photographing inspiring people in spectacular locations.” A typical year right now includes 100 personal branding shoots and mentoring up to 20 photographers. Her Personal Branding photography starts at $4000 and she's booked well in advance.
